“The concept of total wellness recognizes that our every thought, word and behavior affects our greater health and well-being. And we, in turn are affected not only emotionally but also physically and spiritually.” -Greg Anderson
Wellness is compromised of many factors and it affects all aspects of our human connection to ourselves, others and the world. Each person is unique and so is their path to wellness. We aim to provide genuine and authentic support to guide you on your path to wellness.
Through the use of positive psychology, person-centered approaches, and trauma informed practices, we conducts evaluations in order to discover information regarding a person’s quality of life, strengths, life goals, and what optimal wellness looks like for each person.
Interventions such as coaching, counseling, mindfulness practices and behavioral supports are all methods that can be used to help a person develop a path to achieve optimal wellness.
We also provide clinical training regarding mental health and people with different abilities for agencies, businesses, healthcare providers, etc. Coaching and training is also available for Direct Support Professionals and family as well. Although we specialize in working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, we work with people of all abilities.
My name is Lacey Eaton and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I was born in El Paso, Texas and was raised in the Central Texas area. I am a two time graduate of Texas Wesleyan University. I received my BA in Psychology and my MA in Professional Counseling from this wonderful institution. For the last eighteen plus years, I have worked with family caregivers of those that have some form of physical, mental, or intellectual challenges. For the last twelve years, my passion and experience has been with disability services in Tarrant County. My experience includes an extensive knowledge of county resources and waiver programs for people with Intellectual and Developments Disabilities (IDD). Much of my time has been dedicated to individuals and their families that are faced with a variety of challenges and to provide them support and hope. It is now time for me to begin a new journey and to start my own practice. I have many hopes for the future and the possibilities are endless.
